The presenter will utilize lectures, discussions, videos, and case studies to support the learning objectives and facilitate learning.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to...

  • Apply affirming communication skills to engage clients around gender, sexuality, and relational norms.

  • Demonstrate cultural competence with up to date terminology and language around gender and sexuality.

  • Identify misconceptions about the LGBTQIA+ community for increased advocacy of marginalized groups.

Cost:

  • $80 early bird rate (before 4/1/26)

  • $90 regular rate (after 4/1/26)

  • $60 for students/pre-licensed

CE Credit Available: 3 CE hrs. Abundant Hope Therapy has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7477. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Abundant Hope Therapy is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Location: Virtual Training via Zoom. Link will be sent approximately 3 days before event.

About the Presenter: Mallorie is a licensed professional counselor who works at Hampton House Counseling. They serve the LGBTQIA+community and primarily work with neurodivergent and gender non-conforming individuals. They have worked in the mental health field for 4+ years and hold the license of LPC-MHSP. Mallorie is from Nashville, TN and went to school at Lipscomb University and holds degree in clinical mental health counseling. They are passionate about language and how language can impact how we view ourselves, others, and the communities we live in.

Materials: All registered participants will receive the seminar materials via and any other important information via email, approximately 3 days before the training.

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be available 1 week before the event. After that time, refunds will be given in terms of a credit for a future training held by Abundant Hope Therapy
