About the Presenter: Alexine is passionate about supporting clients through complex trauma and the many twists and turns of the perinatal journey—from pre-conception through those sleep-deprived early parenting years. With certifications in EMDR and perinatal mental health, she brings an evidence-based, culturally humble, and open and affirming approach; walking alongside clients as they process complex trauma, grieve through loss or unexpected challenges and the numerous surprises of the perinatal period. Alexine is always honored to make space for any anxious inner children ready to be seen and heard when present challenges stir up old, but still familiar, hurts. Beyond her clinical work, she loves fostering learning and professional growth, making training fun, engaging, and often with more information than anyone asked for! As an Approved Clinical Supervisor, she comes from the framework of trauma-informed reflective supervision focused on professional growth, ethical practice, and counselor wellness.
