  3. List 4 ways the nervous system reacts to threats

  4. Discuss the concepts of gaslighting and double binds

  5. Apply 3 specific interventions to aid in abuse recovery

Upon purchase you will be able to download a document with a link to the training video. The link for the evaluation of the training will be at the end video and accessible via QR codes. The evaluation must be completed to receive your certificate. CE Credit Available: 5 CE hours. Abundant Hope Therapy has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7477. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Abundant Hope Therapy is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

About the Presenter: Tara Forrest Greene, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the owner of Forrest Counseling Services, LLC. She is passionate about helping adults and children heal from relational trauma and move toward healthy relationships, with a speciality in supporting women recovering from domestic abuse as well as children and teens facing trauma or anxiety. She is certified in EMDR, Trauma Play, SSP, and Prepare/Enrich, and trained in Domestic Abuse Victim Advocacy and TF-CBT, using a polyvagal-informed lens throughout her work. Her first priority is creating a safe, compassionate environment that supports healing, self-understanding, and empowerment. Tara uses an integrative, collaborative approach, adapting to each client’s needs and fostering a sense of agency throughout their therapy process.
